Inge’s mom’s birthday is today and Inge bought her a succulent plant. A Perfect photograph before it gets delivered.
I don’t know what kind it is, it just said “Succulent” on the tag. Don’t know, but I do like the textures of this one.

Day 14 – Cactus The 3rd
Ah MONDAY! A new week. Let’s hope for a peaceful one!
Today I thought I would photograph the last cactus of the 3 outside.
I also thought instead of focusing ONLY on the one cactus, why not show all three, with the focus on the one and the others behind him, out of focus.

Day 13 – Thorn in my side
Today I thought I would photograph the other cactus of the 3 we have outside. This is the middle one. The thorny one.
I thought I would take a macro photograph of this little guy, and show all the thorns of this one, but it looked very boring. Then I started playing with the focus.

Day 6 – A Cactus
Day 6 was a rush today to catch the last light. Somehow it slipped my mind to take a photograph today for photo-a-day.
Well after the twins took their bath and they were all fed, I rushed outside to be able to get some available light from the early setting winter’s sun. The idea I had was going to take a bit of setting up, so I took a photo of one of our cactus plants on the patio.

Close encounter with a Cactus
I bought a new macro lens at the end of 2019.
Beginning of 2019 I played around in the studio and discovered macro photography again and wanted to get a better lens, the quality photographs I got from my Sigma lens was just awful, so I bought a Canon lens and I couldn’t be happier.
These were some of the first test shots I took. Close-ups of 3 Cactus plants we have, taken outside on the patio under the roof using natural, available light.
