Day 21 – Just Yellow

In the coldest room in the house, the room I decided to make my studio/study, I enter with a bunch of flowers and feeling yellow today!

I think subconsciously I chose to focus on Yellow in a way to Welcome the warmth, or manifesting the warmer weather.

Yellow is associated with Warmth and sunshine.

Although today is still very cold, my fingers are freezing as I type and occasionally have to delete and retype a word because I can’t ‘feel’ where my fingers are going on the keyboard, so frozen are they! But I’m trying to be a positive person, so Yellow for sunshine and welcoming the coming warmer weather…soon please!

I again had to use manual focus because these little yellow flowers are so tiny.

I used a shallow depth of field and was lucky to only get one flower in focus with everything else out of focus.

Day 21

Jayde is her old self, actually better, she is more loving or kind toward her brother, and also less tantrums, this past weekend was actually a good one. Thank the gods, because having 2 terrible twos are just too much.

According to my weather app, Thursday we are into the 20’s and by next week Monday we might see 24. Oh I can’t wait, but I know as soon we hit the first 30 I’ll probably miss Winter! HAHA

  1. Oooh very pretty image. Love the warmth. All the best for the 2x terrible twos. I found that with one of my kids if I held and rocked her while I sang to her she calmed down. My second child took her tantrums out on the older child. I have a video of her running across the garden wagging her finger at her while shouting gobly gook at her. And the funniest was when my eldest at two unbeknownst to me got hold of the video recorder and accidentally recorded a talk about terrible two tantrums. It was classic and most useful πŸ˜‚

    1. Hahaha. Sounds like you had an adventure with your little ones.
The have their moments. Some times they aren’t too bad and sometimes they little nightmares. Saturday night was hectic. Running around screaming and playing and chasing each other. Think they hd too much cake and grandma. The cake was waaaay to sweet. Haha. And theu dont really know what sugar is. Haha. Poor kids. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    2. Yes too much sugar sure does cause havoc, all round!

    3. Lesson learned. Now I wonder if it’s a good thing we raise them without a daily dose of sugar. Hahaha πŸ€ͺ
